Autism Services: Our Approach

Comprehensive • Holistic • Strengths-Based

At Aspire, we are dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-based, holistic care for children with autism, focusing on their strengths, needs, and unique personalities.

Our expert therapists are committed to offering comprehensive treatment tailored to each child's specific goals and milestones. We work as a multidisciplinary team in a fun and collaborative environment.

Our approach

We believe in letting kids be kids.

Our therapy approach focuses on nurturing their natural interests and helping them grow as individuals.

We take a neurodivergent affirming approach. Our therapy is tailored based on individual needs and strengths, emphasizing letting kids be themselves, having fun, and loving who they are. We treat the child as a whole, focusing on their unique needs rather than just the diagnosis.

Kids learn best through play. At Aspire, we prioritize this approach. While your child plays games or makes a craft or completes an obstacle course, our therapists are focused on their individual goals and the strategies needed to achieve them. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate in sessions and ask questions, ensuring they understand the 'why' behind what is happening in therapy. It may appear that we are simply playing with your child, but in reality, play is a crucial tool that accelerates their progress towards their goals.

Diagnostic Evaluations

Aspire offers comprehensive evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at each of our clinics. If you are interested in having your child evaluated for ASD and/or ADHD, please contact us to learn about scheduling your next step.

A message for parents

You are not alone. We're here to support you and your child, every step of the way.

We see beyond the diagnosis to the amazing individual your child is. Our therapy is about helping them flourish and reach their full potential. We look forward to building a deep connection with you and your child.

Our strengths-based approach focuses on what your child loves and is good at, incorporating family into goal creation and therapy sessions. We provide a safe and supportive environment for both children and families, balancing fun and professionalism with evidence-based practices.

Being family-focused means that we emphasize your involvement in the clinic and at home. We are open to your feedback and problem-solving to better serve your child's needs. We work hard to ensure accessibility and consistency in therapy, with a focus on safety and a non-judgmental environment.

Our team

Our team of occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and mental health professionals has unique training and advanced education on developmental milestones, communication, sensory processing and regulation, fine and gross motor movement, and emotional wellbeing.

While no two children are alike, our team, individually and collectively, has extensive experience working with children of all ages, abilities, challenges, and skill levels.

Our clinicians have a strong desire for continued education, ensuring they are up to date on best practices. We take a multi-disciplinary approach and frequently collaborate among therapists. We also offer interdisciplinary diagnostics and collaboration with outside providers.

My son and I have been treated excellently. They explained everything to me and made sure we had an understanding of what was going on.

This was the third neuropsychological evaluation we’ve been through in about 4 years. Aspire’s evaluator was VERY thorough, took many factors into consideration, and worked with a team of professionals to complete the evaluation. During one of the appointments, I talked to several staff in the waiting room. I felt warmth and care from all of them even though they don’t know me or my child. Overall, I felt respected and understood during this evaluation process and that is essential during a time that can be extremely sensitive for parents.
